Our Staff

Samford Pines Child Care & Early Learning Centre selects staff as part of the team who are able to provide a quality care and educational program, a warm, safe and stimulating environment, a happy family atmosphere and a professional attitude. 

At present there are 13 full time staff members employed at the centre. Staff either hold a current qualification or are undertaking appropriate training to obtain a relevant qualification as recognized by the Licensing body. All staff must hold a current Suitability Card (Blue Card), and up to date First Aid certificates. The centre also encourages staff to be involved in ongoing training to keep up to date with current industry practices and issues.

Relief Staff:

We have a pool of relief staff who we utilize when our permanent staff members are absent, to cover for staff breaks and programming time.

Our relief staff are carefully chosen to ensure that their aims and objectives are the same as those of our permanent staff members.

Students:

Samford Pines Child Care & Early Learning Centre regularly accepts placements of students from local secondary schools and tertiary training facilities throughout the year. Students visit the centre to observe and participate in the day to day operations and gain experience in their chosen field of early childhood education.
