Outdoor Learning Environment

Our outdoor environment is divided in two, a small separate play space is allocated for the Babies and Toddlers and a large space for the Junior Kindy, Kindy and Pre School groups.

Our outdoor environment is an extension of our indoor environment. When in the outdoor area children are given opportunities to explore the expansive play space which provides them with many learning possibilities.

The large space includes a bike track, complete with petrol pump, a mulched area which is used to create obstacle courses and climbing opportunities to enhance gross motor and coordination development. A shaded teaching deck which has multiple uses for small and large group play opportunities. A large, fully covered sand pit, swings, timber fort and slides.

The outdoor environment has real grass, lots of garden area and natural shade. As we are a sun safe centre the children remain in the indoor environment between the hours of 10 and 3 daily, leaving plenty of time to explore our fantastic playground.
