How To Book A Place

Families who are wanting their children to attend Samford Pines Child Care & Early Learning Centre must contact the centre and place their name on the “waiting list”. Preferably this should be done in person, by visiting the centre and filling out the necessary form and ensuring that our environment is the right one for your child and family. 

Unborn babies can be placed on the waiting list once an estimated date of birth can be provided.

Enrolment Bond:

To secure a place at Samford Pines Child Care & Early Learning Centre a one off $35.00 non refundable enrolment bond must be paid within one week of booking the place. This enrolment bond secures the child’s place at the centre and covers the cost of a sunhat for children when they move into the Toddlers group and also covers the cost of the ongoing use of sunscreen for children while they are at the centre. 

Orientation:

Entry into a new childcare centre is at times overwhelming with new information, procedures and settling your child into a new environment.

Families will be encouraged to spend as much time as possible with their child at the centre, with staff, discussing information about them. This gives the child the chance to familiarise him/herself with the setting with someone familiar by their side.

We encourage families to contact the centre at any time to check on their child and their day. They are also welcome to visit at any time of the day, without prior notice.

If you feel your child is having difficulty settling into the centre, please feel free to discuss this with the staff in your child’s room or the centre Director.
